During my visit, I sampled a mix of sweet and savoury treats. To begin with, the brownie was rich and fudgy, though it carried a curious aftertaste that left me slightly perplexed. In contrast, the canelés were an absolute triumph. Specifically, their caramelized crust and creamy, custard-like interior struck the perfect balance of texture and flavour.
While I didn’t have the opportunity to try their bread, it’s worth noting that much of the town’s bread supply originates from this bakery. Consequently, their reputation for exceptional sourdough, crafted with care and expertise, speaks volumes about their dedication to quality.
